MMBob is a forum system initiated by Submarine for the use within their community system. Its modeled in design and data after phpbb types of products. In the last 6 months several companies have already contributed to this project : EO, Kennisnet, Foundation Submarine and Million Pieces. Its been in production at several sites and we are working as a group on new versions and features. For now Submarine will be the maintainer with Daniel Ockeloen (mmcoder) as the assigned maintainer.
MMBob follows the application layout and build process and works on 1.7 and 1.8. We also provide a version in the package format for easy installment on MMBase 1.8 (nightly build). Its under the MPL.
MMBob allows for multiple forums to be started and maintained with different settings, all under the control of config xml files or/and a webinterface. It includes tools for forum maintainance like admin, moderators etc etc.

Not much more to say since most have already seen it or used it but i am open for questions related to the call for moving it to the correct cvs.
