Hi, JasperReports (jasperreports.sourceforge.net) combined with a design tool like iReport (ireport.sourceforge.net, commercial alternatives available) make a great combination for reporting and pdf generation. The missing link to mmbase would be the creation of a datasource (in jasperreports this datasource can be a beanfactory or jdbc datasource or something else). JasperReports is a template based reportting engine, iReport is the tool to design the template so that users can change layouts and stuff. HTH, Michael
