This is due to license restrictions. Dome libraries can't be
redistribitued by others than Sun, so you'll have to get it yourself.
Why does it report that it attempted to download then...
You are not allowed to redistribute at a public place, but a
company-wide repository could have these jars as a convenience for the
developers.
Second answer would be. This is the way maven handles dependencies. It
will attempt to get the artifacs for you and will let you know when it
failed. Maven does not know which dependencies are not allowed to be
redistributed.
