Hello all, Pierre especially, >Very true. Perhaps the foundation can sponsor that? Not so much >development, which will happen one way or the other, but the hours >needed for writing docu so people can actually use the new nifty >features (such as the datatypes/fieldtypes I'm working on). > I think the Foundation is willing to support this kind of actions, although I did not check with my board yet. I don't know if we need "rules" for co-financing this kind of activities. Perhaps it's an idea to collect requests for documentation-time first, to see if these requests can be granted without any formal structures. This of course will depend on the number of requests and the (total) amount of time considered necessary.
Hope to see you (all) on September 30 when we will discuss the research done by Ruben and hopefully reach some conclusions for the future of MMBase.
