I think the warning must only happen if an explicit 'guitype' tag is
present.
If that is missing, and a <datatype> is missing too, then no warning should
be logged. If that happens, then I'd consider it a bug.
What I meant is that the issue of this thread still exists in the new
builder format and that the pattern still makes sense. It is not solved
with this change in code.
