That depends on the amount of feed-back.

No.

I myself plan to do before the release:

- upgrade one serious site to 1.8. That will probably be kassa.vara.nl.
- review the actual distro. So, how does it look like, does it indeed
contain a sensible configuration and jar-set and so on.
- run my taglib jsp tests

- perhaps fix some issues and bugs.
  E.g. 'cross-field-validation' and mm:time using DateParser.

Though I figure if nobody notices these issues, they may not be
  important..

I think the only existing mechanism is that everybody can see and update
in CVS what has been tested by whom (in release-notest.txt), but I think
hardly anybody seriously maintains that. Not even myself.

But I have to do these kind of things mainly in spare or stolen
time, so I can make no promises whatsoever about when I find that.

I am no account manager; you cannot leave it to me to maintain a list of
orginisations willing to help, or even to approach them to ask to be
added to such a list. A beta is available, I can only hope that people
take the hint, and come with feed back.

My only hard demand wat that at least the automated tests succeed, which
is currently the case.
