Rob,
within Kennisnet we
use the Entree Service as a single sign on system. Entree is used by two MMBase
implementations.
The new version of
Entree (called Entree Next Generation and planned to be released soon)
will use A-Select for authentication. At this moment we have a small Java
component that reads the A-select cookie, which is still in alpha release. If
you want more information on this or simply want to take a look at the code let
me know and I can send you more details.
For the new version
of Copacabana we also plan to build a component that will allow our MMBase
implementations to connect to A-Select. We have also taken a look at existing
implementations (like the A-select component of Michiel Meeuwissen which is
currently in the CVS) and we definetely aim for reuse of existing components
where necessary. This implies that we are also planning to offer any changes and
improvements to the community.
Acegi looks very
interesting and at the moment our architect is investigating its possibilities
but we do not have any concrete experience with relevant implementations.We
would also like to hear if there are people in this list that have experience
with acegi.
If you want more
information I can bring you in contact with the developer of Entree NG who can
inform you better about his experiences with A-select.
