Apparently the technical board is meeting regularly and setting the

I am curious to learn what is the outcome of the last meetings?
There are a few minutes of meteings on the mmbase site, but not
(afaik) from the last meeting.
Anyway I would be interested to hear a bit more, maybe discuss stuf
flike the 'principles' and other goals that have been set?
Don't consider this a report since well i didn't take notes (Jo will
post these in time) the following topics where discussed (Henk and
JeanLuc didn't make it):
Release Manager:
Not really discussed Jo/JeanLuc are working on this seems to be on
track and we are waiting for a job description looks like their is room
for 2 days/week.
BugTracker:
JeanLuc was not at the meeting but Finalist got the old bugtracker
info from Michiel a few days before the meeting (on request) so they
seem to be working on it. We did make a point that switching before
1.8.0 is not a option but it is for 1.8.1
Principle's
Most of the time we spend on principles, We hope that these will be
the way to create guidelines for all the stakeholders in MMBase.
www.mmbase.org has a nice presentation bij Nadia (Kennisnet)
explaining them. The idea is to have a alot of them ready when we
open up some kind of tool for the community, so that there is a good
body of content to start discussing and updating them. Several people
already made principles and we discussed some of them in more detail.
What was missing was some kind of tool to show/maintain them.
Kennisnet uses sharepoint but this can't be used for this for several
reasons (its not open and free for one), Nadia created a memo with
techinical demands and wished for a application. And Daniel promised
to put in about a week of time to create a first step for this tool
and place it in the contribs cvs.
CMS container proposal
DIdactor and Karma people have several meetings planned to create a
proposal for a new cms container. Michiel and Daniel pressed hard
that we feel its taking too long before they consult the rest of the
community but seems it can't be done any faster. We also expressed
our hopes that they will create a MMBase project soon so we can have
meetings in the normal way. I think the idea is to have 1 closed
meeting and one open meeting (at one of the partners) before 10May.
Hope this helps and i didn't make any mistakes,
Daniel.
