First welcome to the new commitors :).
I will place the principletracker in cvs now the vote is
finished ........... done !
That was the easy part :), Not everybody might already know what
principles
are all about. On the www.mmbase.org site there is a presentation by
Nadia Poulou (kennisnet)
on the topic. But if you have questions please ask. The work done is
laying down the
ground work and more tuning and discussion will follow.
I turned the principletracker into a working (i hope) example using
the 1.8 guidelines (principles :) ). So
you can install it on your own machine if you want. It will soon be
installed on www.mmbase.org so it
can start doing its job.
One new feature is a (very basic) docbook writer i just added so the
results of the work will be part of our
normal documentation (docbook documentation/general/principles.xml)
and will as a result be in every next
distrobution in mmdocs/general/principles.html. For now its a beta
since the technical group is still trying to find
a good balance on how to open this up and who does the review process.
