The implementation I'm going to make is indeed completely without any
form of legacy. Effectively, it will not work on even 1.8.0, and at the
moment does not even work on IE...

My implementation will be completely in tag-files and JSP's with JSTL
and MMBase Taglib, and heavily depends on the fact that the MMBase
datetime support should be strong enough (and one of the reasons is that
I want to test/bugfix this part of MMBase). The weak point is probably
the looks..

It cannot harm. It may give some ideas, and perhaps the interaction
