Hello Nikola

It is well possible that there is no experiance in the community with this product. I think the best thing is to try to install mmbase 1.8 as an ordinary webapp, as described in the documentation of the app server. If you should run into problems with xml related stuff (like parsing configuration files or using the edit wizards) try to find the proper place to insert xalan and xerces jars.

Regards,

Ernst

Dear community members,

 Below is a step describing
how to deploy mmbase under Tomcat.

4. Copy the subdir mmbase-webapp into the servlet-engine's webapps
dir, or point to it in a configuration file (e.g. server.xml of
tomcat).

I would be very grateful if someone could answer me how to deploy
mmbase under Sun Application Server 9.0 which doesn't have server.xml
and servlet-engine's webapps.I can install mmbase using tomcat, but
it would be waste of memory and ports to install tomcat if Sun App
server is capable to run servlets, Ear-s etc.

best regards,
Nikola Radakovic
