Yes, or a code-convention, which is a kind of principle too.
Btw, not even all mmbase core builders stick to this principle ('object',
'oalias', 'insrel' etc).
I also used plurals everywhere because I thought that was the
'convention'. But I do percept that this behaviour is not
universal. E.g. UML2MMBase produces singular builder names, probably
because class-names in Java are normally singular too.
