Hi Andreas!
I try the examples, but what i need is make a connection with an Oracle
Server.
As webserver -> Oracle Server.
About the examples:

 - Do i need a connector between the 2 hosts to make the telnet example
work?

I'm not using the Sybase here, just Oracle, could you publish an example of
JDBC connection to an Oracle database?

I tried to make the PROVIDERS and LISTENERS between the hosts, bases in both
examples.
After i tried to make a JDBC Connection to Oracle server, by the Port
avaiable in  the
LISTENER created in the webserver. Is this correct?

By now, thanks for your attention.
Rodrigo

There is a JDBC/Sybase example on in the portmapper introduction page.
There is also a Telnet example. It might be a good idea to try this first
to become familiar with the portmapper and then connect the JDBC stuff.
