[MMBase-1.6.0] Release Candidate 2

Hello everybody,

The next release candidate for MMBase-1.6.0 has been released. It can be downloaded from <http://www.mmbase.org/download>. This page will be updated somewhere tomorrow (friday), untill then you can download rc2 from <http://www.mmbase.org/releases/> and look for the files with 1.6.0 and rc2 in the filename :)

When you're using the src-distro, you can also download the mmbase-downloads.zip (big file, about 20MB) and put this in your mmbase-src dir. This zip contains all the external jars/zips/etc you'll need to build MMBase.
You can also depend on the build.xml to download everything you need.

A lot of bugfixes are included in this rc and the release team expects one more release candidate will be needed before the final release. The rc-3 will contain up-to-date releasenotes.

Please test this version (rc2) thoroughly with a new/clean database, by installing all applications and testing all demos and sent your remarks to this list. Also include details about your testing environment (jdk/os/jdbc/database/etc).

Only with your help we can make this release the best MMBase-release there is......
