The editwizards use Dove, though they do not use DoveServlet (iow: they use the Dove class directly, not through a servlet request).
Dove need to be installed on the same MMbase insatnce a the editwizards, or the wizards won't run.
I.o.w. the editwizard application requires teh Dove application.
