perhaps you are right. It's probably best to keep the taglib focused. I'm shure there are other general-purpose taglibs out there that will do all this kind of really basic stuff. I just wouldn't know which one. I guess a visit to jakarta could fix that. Ernst

I think it is. It's one of the tips & tricks, IIRC. You could have doubts on whether "aliaslist" is the correct tag to use for this... however if you would instead make a "stringlist" tag or something similar, you are drawing the taglib well away from mmbase-specific functionality - I wonder if we want that.
