Let me be more clear (sorry) i didn't understand it I want to go for creating a special file in config/*/* for this called memsizes.xml this would be similar to say cache.xml that also handles some General settings in that case for all caches. If that is too much for now ill Also +1 on the mmbaseroot.xml simply because its easest to more from in the future. Ill abstain from all others.
