Hmm yes. It would indeed not be very difficult to adapt build.xml. I think it was more or less intentionally not done, to make it clear that there is a problem here... We should by the way also consider when we are going to drop support for java 1.3. 1.4 is the latest stable jdk for some time now. As long as this damn MultiConnection still is in MMBase we can support only 1.3 or 1.4 directly, so in a way we have to make a choice..
