Hi

well ... those remarks really saved my day,
when I was still young and wild (and didnt RTFM).

So, which remark was so very helpful then, and why?

helpfull ? nay, maybe I should say, "comforting".

Regarding 'stdout' as a file i find only a semi-true, and possibly
confusing notice.

stdout ? I think its quite recently that I found log4j did indeed continue in another file from that point on. had something to do a log4j2 class somewhere ? the only comforting thing was the fact that there was this final remark in the log, which saved me from despair, regardless of whether it made any sense :-)

whatever. take it out.
or maybe .. replace it with a dotted line ?

Internet search engines that take money from Web sites in exchange for prominent placement should make that practice clearer to Web users, federal regulators said Friday. Many search engine Web sites, including AltaVista, LookSmart and AOL Search, give preferred placement to paid advertisers. The Federal Trade Commission said that prime space can confuse Web users who are looking for the best response to their search, rather than ads for sites that paid up front.
