do other MMBase applications / builders work? how did you install the packages and in what order? (first java then tomcat or the reverse)? did you replace the common/endorsed/*.jar files? can you try to move tomcat to a directory with short names (say c:\tomca) can you give feed-back? Every time somebody tries tomcat/mmbase on windows they at first are stuked and once it works they don't take the time to help really find the problem.(of course you are different :) ) greets
