Perhaps the second one can be implemented imediately in 1.6 and 1.7. The
first one is fine with me too, if you feel like changing all links in the
xsls.

Perhaps the second one can stay, even if the first one is implemented,
because it can work as a fall-back if someone forgets to implement 1 in his
xsl extension.
