MMObjecvtByuidler ahs a simple function that allows you to get teh substring of a field's value. It is used thus:
<mm:field name="substring(subject,20)" />
I discovered that teh ciommunity 'Message' builder uses a similar function, bit it operates differently, namely:
<mm:field name="substring(subjectx20)" />
So instead of a comma, you use an x.
It seems obvious that the code in Message should be dropped, but obviously this may cause problems for sites that use this function.
Does anyone have problems if I remove it?
