Yes, you would presume that a '1' is a string, but this means al lot of JSP pages have te be rewritten, i know of quite some people writing their constraints like this.
By the way :-) Has anyone noticed already that it's no longer possible to save values (like positions) in relations, at least not in the mmeditors or my_editors? Positions show up with value -1, both on MySQL and HSQLDB using MMBase 1.7.0.20031229 on Mac OS X. (string in between there somewhere?)
