I do not know if mmbase could not be used for very dynamic systems. I think it should perform comparably like other systems, and if it does not (which it might), I think that should be considered an issue. Though I did have some words about why I would not so soon do it, I do agree with you that it should be possible to mix mmbase / mmbase-taglib easily with other products, because I see too that people are doing it, so why not serve them. And indeed it is hopeless to support everything. I will not argue with that. Perhaps I will convert myself after all, you'll never now... It can certainly be put on an mmbase roadmap.
