Hi, I am honoured as well of course, but I doubt whether I am made out of the right commitor stuff.
Most of the time I enjoy working with MMBase and in the course of doing so I sometimes think of improvements or make bugfixes. Sometimes I even have opinions on MMBase functionality, architecture or future directions. Fact is that I do not feel an the urge to actively participate in the process of improving, hacking and extending MMBase or transforming it into something bigger than the CMS it currently is. My interest originates from a bussiness point of view, that is, in some cases I find MMBase the best starting point to most efficiently solve a customer's problem and that is when I like it. I am quite sure, however, that once I will be working on a project that does not involve MMBase (they exist !), I will lose my interest quite rapidly. So, I guess I lack the passion to become a commitor. Anyway, I will participate in discussions and will submit code changes and attributions through Nico or the other commitors. By the way, the C# fork is almost done :) I will make the mmbase.dll available soon and Bill promised me it will be bundled with Longhorn (but only after I assured him there are no security leaks :).
