I analyzed a rather nasty bug which Henk has submitted : Html fields in editwizards will NOT work on Internet Explorer.
I assume you're talking about bug #6415? This bug has been marked closed, but I reckon it must be reopened again?
I have been busy for almost the entire day to find a cause for this.
It has to do with iframes, and Internet Explorer 6.0.2 making a total mess of things when it comes to generating stuff on a page.
I let Gerard determine if this is a showstopper, but as I am using the html type fields on a few of my sites, with editors using IE, for me the release as is cannot be used.
I think this is used in a lot more sites and it can be marked as a real showstopper.
We could say the editwizards-application is a seperate application and can be released seperate after the MMBase-1.7.0 release, but I think that's not the right way of doing this release.
So let's fix this problem tomorrow and do the release after the fix has been confirmed.
Please do not commit anything else but a fix for this problem!!! (and maybe some updates for the releasenotes :)).
