Hi Peter, please, read my previous post ("connection pooling bug"). I ran into a similar problem (although I'm not using jsp taglib) . Initially I was thinking  about a cache problem too, but after a long debug I found a bug in the connection pooling mechanism. In fact the problem persist after disabling related node cache.
