That's true now. But I would rather see that it was not necessary, and that
bugtracker accounts would be security accounts. The advantage is that you
can use the same account then all over the site then (also for generic
editors/editwizards then). Marking somebody as 'committor' would then be
putting someone's account in the 'committors' security group. Every other
'basic user' account can then submit bugs. I'm not sure if the wish that you
should be able to edit your own bug can be granted in that way, but if not
you could always grant the bugtracker jsp the rights to make that possible.
