To add to the below. The workflow of leeuwarden is almost the same as
WebInABox. Both applications use a content data structure to determine the
rights of the user in the workflow. The workflow of Leeuwarden is a little
simpler then WebInABox. It does not use the advanced features like original
nodeversion/workflow nodeversion and workflowstatus objects.

I have also worked on a project which did the workflow status functionality
with the xml context security (MMBAse 1.5). It also had the advanced
original nodeversion/workflow nodeversion feature. That implementation was
much harder to understand. It did not have a rolebased sitemap like WIAB and
leeuwarden have.

I heard some other people talking about workflow back in the days and I am
curious if there are more workflow/publishing applications out there! Or are
all the other publishing applications based on an embargo and expire date?
