There are a lot of bugs fixed in this release, see releasenotes.txt for more information about the bugs that are fixed.
Because of the amount of bugs that have been fixed since the previous release, you are advised to upgrade your existing installations. Please refer to the
upgrade.txt file for information.
MMBase is distributed in two different 'flavours', mmbase-src and mmbase. First is the source distribution and the second is the binary distribution.
The binary distribution's target users are end-users and first-time users. It contains a working hsqldb database and applications (including builders) needed for the examples can be installed.
The source distribution's target users are developers who like to start building their own MMBase.
