This call is for the execution of the first step in the Optimalization project. This step concerns the removal of the old storage classes.
The functionality of the old storage classes can now be done by the new storagemanager framework.

In this step, the following actions take place:

Remove the following classes:
- org.mmbase.storage.Storage
- org.mmbase.storage.Transaction
- org.mmbase.storage.database.* (all classes under this package and up)
- org.mmbase.util.DatabaseLookup

remove the following config files config:
- database/hsqldb-storage.xml
- database/mysql.xml
- database/postgresql.xml
- database/relation.xml
- database/lookup.xml
- database/lookup_postgresql.xml
- database/README.TXT

In MMBase.java, the use of DatabaseLookup should be removed (storagemanager framework handles this now).

The old support classes are not affected in this Step.
This change is for MMBase 1.8.
