Hi!

I can't use BOM because its too complex. Client does not want to 
record individual items within the item.

I just want to know is there any function that i can use to change 
the cost of an individual item (before inventory closing)?

On the other hand I would say, why don't you just modify your
price-agreements of those articles?

| exchange a part with serial # 987654

| Outcome: Serial # 123456 cost's changes from 1000 to 1100
| and Serial # 987654 cost's change from 1500 to 1400
