If I remember correctly, Axapta uses titlefield1,titlefield2 for lookup when nothing else is available.

But even with an empty fieldgroup AutoLookup there are fields shown beside the the lookup-Field (for example when VendTable is looked up for account numbers of vendors). How are the field chosen?-
