Sorry not sure I understand your question but if you mean 'Automatic Reservation' Automatic/Manual then this is the default setting for each sales order you create. YOu will find the same field exists on the sales order (copied from sales parm) and sales order lines (copied from sales order). The setting on the sales line is what the system uses to decide if it should do automatic reservation for the line.

Axapta can do auto reservation by reciept date or batch number (but not batch date). So first you have to make sure your batch numbering is formatted so the older one has a number that when sorted will be before newer ones (easiest is to prefix manufactured date yymmdd as part of the batch number). IF you have this then all you need is on the item A go to the the inventory model group and untick date reservation.


I wanted reservation by batch expiry date (maybe this is also what you want) has any one done an modifcation to achieve this?
