We have Axapta implemented for one country (Country A) and need to roll it out to another 2 countries (Country B & C). Countries B & C have GST and VAT respectively.
We are getting confusing advice from 2 different vendors. Vendor 1 says that we only need to add a localization pack for Country C to get VAT support in the forms and reports. According to him, there is no localization pack for Country B - GST support is built into the Axapta base.
Vendor 2 says differently - we need to apply localization packs for Country B & C. The catch is that we need to buy 3 licences for Axapta as each Axapta application can only support one localization pack. This really threw us off our chairs.
Can anyone explain what a localization pack does ? Does Axapta support loading of multiple localization packs per application ?
