i am not sure if i understood the question
correctly. if you want to include the hand phones by serial nos then you need to
have on each line qty = 1, include the serial no and then post. so in the end
when you check the onhand you will find the hand phone by serial nos.
as per your query you have around
20000 serial nos to be entered, in this case it may be quite time consuming to
enter all the serial nos. it's better if you have the serial nos in an .csv file
and then write a function to populate these records in the journal
lines.

Need help here.
User acts as a telco intermediary.
Every month, telco will provide user with 20,000 phone numbers.
These phone numbers will be issued out (ie treated as sold) when
customers requested for the phone numbers.
I setup an item number 'HP' in inventory, with dimension for Serial
Number activated.
Question:
1. There is no PO issued for handphone number request from telco.
2. Each mth, there will be 20,000 random numbers handed to the user.
3. I proposed to user Movement Journal.
4. How can i load in the handphone number, its qty and the serial
numbers into the journal?
Anyone has any idea?
