MOST all fields in Axapta use an extended data type (EDT) or a base
enumerator (baseEnum) , if you look at the field in the table in the
AOT, and get the property for this you can then find the EDT/baseEnum
change the label, and it will effect all places it is used in the
system. If you don't want the change to effect the whole system you can
set the label on the field in the table it's self overriding the label
set on the EDT/baseEnum.
The field you mention in your original email is the Dimension EDT is an
array so you need to change the label on the EDT, and the 2 array
elements as well. You can find it in
AOT\Data Dictionary\Extended Data Types\Dimension
