I didn't copied the application to another server.
What I did is - I connected the client that was there in the
problematic application server to another application server. And it
worked fine.
Subsequently I copied the application from that working application
server to the problematic application server. After this when I
tried to connect to the application in the problematic application
server, the same problem occured. After I enter the password
credentials, the client just hangs.
Hope this makes it clear.
I had a detailed chat with our Network Administrator. He insists
that he did not install any hot fixes, patches in the recent past to
the problematic application server.
