Did you check the parameter in A/R (Delete Order lines after Invoicing) and A/P (delete Purchase Line after Invoice) . This parameter only affects Sales Orders , Purchase orders and posts to History tables but should not affect the InventDims, I will test on my system and see , btw what axapta version are we talking about.
