I thought of doing it your way. Is your application running more stable than
axapta - or in different words: Do you experience, that the VB-program is
running more reliable than axapta?

| uses the Axapta COM and the call a method which check if the
| Axapta Batch client is logged in.
| Create a user "batch" and check the online user with vb program.
| You could expanded the program to check the batch table to
| see if you know when a specifik batch job should run. If the
| batch client is not running you could start the Ax32 with a
| config which has the batch user as default login.
