I don't have any solution for you but we're also getting blocked processes.  It happens about 4 times since we have Axapta (5 months) and we had to shut down the AOS.  We don't know why yet.  We have Axapta 3.0 SP1 with SQL Server 2000 SP3.

We have a customer who is getting Blocked processes in SQL server 2000
continually; posting invoices, renaming, etc in Axapta 2.5.  They had a
server that had 17% free space on the data so they replaced their
server. But still the same problem just not as often. They are going to
retry reinstalling the AOS.  if this does not help is there any thing
else that they can try to resolve this issue?
