You are looking in the AdvancedDatabase Trainings manual, that
states somewhere:
Configuration keys in version 3.0 replace what was called feature
keys in
previous version. The configuration keys control whether an object is
defined or active in the database.
� If the configuration key is not active the the object will not be
defined on the database
� If the configuration key is active then the object will be defined
on
the database
� If there is no configuration key then the object will not be
defined
on the database
Reading this it seems indeed confusing.
Nevertheless when there is no configuration key available it will
work. I have created complete new tables and stored data in it
without having a configuration key.
