There must be a way to prevent future users from seeing this, though!?

  Yep

Seen this before, just say NO to install the extra files.

This is a "feature" of Axapta...

But I agree, users tend to find this "feature" quite ugly

               [EMAIL PROTECTED]         [development-axapta] Files not
                                         found on new installation

  Hi,
We are in the process of moving our Axapta installation onto new hardware.
We are running Axapta V3 SP2.
The application and AOS's are in place, but whenever I open up a client
(three-tier, thin), I first get a prompt indicating the installation is
missing files ("The client installation is missing the required files to
  run
Navision Axapta."), when I press OK, an infolog window pops up listing
  three
  files, that cannot be found:
  Message (15:11:28)
File '\\Sunaxp1\AxBin\..\share\include\_Axhotkey.hkd' could not be opened.
  File '\\Sunaxp1\AxBin\..\share\include\_jmgsignin.avi' could not be
opened.
  File '\\Sunaxp1\AxBin\..\share\include\_jmgsignout.avi' could not be
  opened.
I have checked and these files exist, but without the underscores (i.e.
Axhotkey.hkd not _Axhotkey.hkd), and adding the underscores does not solve
  the problem.

If I just close the infolog, the app runs fine, but I obviously cant
expect
the users to do that every time they log on!! Has anyone seen this before?
