that Axapta wants to start the upgrade list ist normal, because the
build number of the kernel (ax32.exe) is different. If you have the
time you can run the upgrade list ... if not, just disable the start
of the lists in Menu Administration-Setup-System-Check Lists-Prevent
startup of lists.
I have not experienced any error message or crash like you described.
