When you will import it, it will be compiled.  You can also recompile the objects that are in the XPO (once imported in Axapta) by right-clicking it and selecting "Compile".

I am a functional guy and we have an .xpo file which has a patch.
We want to compile. But we don't know. How Can we compile an xpo in 
Axapta?.
