Another bit on this strange behavior. If I add a range for tableid (value
*), and hide that, then running the report from the menu no longer shows the
tableid range, but a new one for the recid. If I then create a * range for
recid, the next field is selected and so on.. VERY strange.

Delete the last choice data of the user... It's possible, the system
conserve old data configuration for the report...
Try this before all manipulations !
Good luck,
Dimitri

Objet : [development-axapta] Phantom report range
Created Report with 2 data sources (CustTable and Address), with
relationships on TableId and RecId. The user chooses the account number
and
the credit controller (dimension 5) responsible for the account number and
the report display's the alternate address (invoice type) of the holder of
the account number. This is done by selecting the account number and
credit
controller as range for the CustTable, type (for invoice) from Address
table
is hidden. A second range for the Address table is specidied to exclude
all
empty addresses. Both the ranges for the Address table are set as hidden.
\
The problem is that when the user runs the report from the menu item (as
opposed to running it directly from the AOT) instead of only showing 2
ranges to chose from, namely Customer account and Credit controller, there
are 3 ranges including a range (Table: Alt. Address, Field: Table ID of
the
main table). This is not the case if you run the report from the AOT in a
project by choosing "open". Also if the report is run from the menu item
and
the refresh button is pressed the third range (the one not suppose to be
there) disappears.
What can be changed in the report ensuring that this third range is not
shown when the user runs it from the menu item?
(We have even tried rewriting the entire report from scratch and this did
not help)
