in the earlier post you had requested to explain how to setup a virtual
company, did you set it up. This needs to be setup before the data is
entered in any of the table which you want to consider to share.

But there could be some other ways too to copy
1. create the COA in one company and then copy it to the other companies
individually using the export / import function.
2. you could write a function to import the data from .csv file. during the
importing of the data you can include the function of changing the company
and inserting the data picked from the .csv file into these other companies.
To understand the function to change the companies using x++ you could in
the check the developers guide for "working with more than one company".


i have used the second option to create the functions , for our client, to
import the data in many master tables , as they too are maintaining multiple
companies.
