We are preparing a master class course with the subject "Upgrade".
We would be very happy if your would share some of your experiences
in that area, as we want to be sure to cover all issues and make a
focus on the difficult steps.
Our preliminary agenda for the course has the following topics:
- Estimation of the effort
- Application objects and layers
- Phantom shadows
- Clean up in modifications
- Menu cross reference
- Upgrade project
- Compare tool
- Code upgrade
- Data upgrade
- Design guidelines to make solutions easy to upgrade
All contributors will receive an abstract of the course when we are
finished.
