Hi Nitesh,
Import function like the one you are doing should be done when we need to
import data in the tables which usually dont need any other functions to run
(Like BOM tables).
When you want to create the Sales order from the excel data then it is
better if you just import some of the standard data Like Customer Id,
Currency, ItemId, Qty , price etc (may be from .csv file) and then you
should write the functions, as the data is imported, to create the Sales
order (table and lines).
you should write a class and in this
1. import the data
2. check if the data is correct or not. If the data is correct then
3. write the function to create the sales order
4. write the function to create the sales line (check on the salesTable form
/datasource:salesLine ,how the salesline is created).
cheers,
Girish

Subject: Re: [development-axapta] Import from excel for invoicing
Hi Akash ,.
Thanks 4 reply,while importing a record of
SalesTable from excel to sales table in Axapta the salesid (num seq ) is
giving problem. When i m giving the next SalesId manually in the Excel
sheet, then the import shows it in the sales table but making another record
result in conflict of Number Sequences between the record imported and the
new record i try to create. Now when i import a record in Sales Table from
an Excel sheet after leaving SalesId blank in Excel, the blank feild is as
it is coming in the Sales Table(Axapta)... i.e no number sequence(Sales ID).
This is not solving my purpose. I want everything to happen normally as
Axapta Standard. Any solutions??? Pls Reply.
Best Regards
Nitesh Seth
