First you need to set up your Financial statement rows.  This would include the ledger accounts that you wish you use for the particular financial statement.  you can format any of them that you would like to look different on the report (italics, bold, line under, etc.).  After you are happy with this you need to go to the Financial Statement and set up the columns that you wish to appear on your financial statement.  On the overview you name the financial statement on the setup tab you select your financial statement rows that you just set up.  You then need to click on the columns button on the right side and set up the columns that you wish to appear on the financial statement. Of course the first column would be name wich would pull the ledger name from the rows, the numbers should be current, any comparision of columns would be a calculation.

This is just the condensed version, hope it helps.

Hi Everyone,

I am hoping that someone out there is familiar with creating Financial
Statements in Axapta and can point me in the right direction. How do you
use Financial Statement rows and Financial Statement (Setup) to create
Financial Statements? I have checked several of the Axapta User Manuals but
cannot find where this is explained.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,
Bob
